What we keep, and why.

Who we are

This site is run by Cindergrove Roasters LLC, 2210 NE Alberta Street, Portland, OR 97211. If anything here is unclear, write to [email protected] or call +1 (503) 555-0134 between 9 am and 4 pm Pacific, Monday to Friday.

What we collect

• What you type into the contact form: your name, email address, the topic and your message.
• The contents of your bag. These are kept in your own browser (local storage) so the bag survives a page change. We never receive them until you continue in the order portal.
• Ordinary server logs kept by our host: IP address, page requested and time. We use them to spot errors and abuse.

This site does not take payment details and does not ask for them.

How we use it

We use your message to answer it. We use order details, when you place an order in the order portal, to roast, pack and ship it. We do not sell your information and we do not rent mailing lists.

Who else sees it

Our order portal provider processes orders and payments under its own policy. Our email provider handles the mailbox your message lands in. Couriers see a name and shipping address. That is the full list.

Cookies and tracking

We set no advertising or analytics cookies. The only thing we store in your browser is the bag, as described above, and you can clear it from your browser settings at any time.

Your choices

Write to [email protected] and we will tell you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it. We aim to reply within five working days.

Children

The site is written for adults who buy coffee. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 16.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date at the top of the page. Material changes will also be mentioned on the home page for 30 days.
