03Equipment and training

We lend the grinder. We teach whoever pulls the shot.

Equipment loan

Accounts that buy at least 60 lb a month borrow a commercial grinder. At 120 lb a month we add a two-group espresso machine, serviced by our technician twice a year.

You own nothing and owe nothing if you leave. We pick it up, clean it and send it to the next account.

Barista training

Greta started out training baristas, and she still runs every session.

  • 01 Dial-in day at your shop, two hours, free with your first order.
  • 02 Milk workshop at the roastery, second Tuesday of the month, 1 pm.
  • 03 Yearly water and machine check, with a written report.
We moved from a national roaster in 2021 and our regulars noticed within a week. The Tuesday delivery means the bag in our hopper is never older than ten days.Hannah Lindqvist, owner, Dellwood Bread & Coffee, Hood River
When our grinder died on a Saturday, Miguel had a loaner at the door by noon. That is why we have not shopped around.Omar Reyes, bar manager, Fenwick Street Social, Salem
